    Prof. Faruk UÇAR, Ph.D.

     Faruk UÇAR was born in Istanbul in 1972. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Isparta. He received his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees from Marmara University. He was appointed as Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor in 2019. His academic studies and publications focus on Analysis and Theory of Functions. He also translated works in this field and supervised master's and doctoral theses.

     During his career, he undertook many administrative duties. He served as the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Head of the Department of Analysis and Theory of Functions, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Member of the Faculty Board and Executive Board at Marmara University. He acted as the Advisor to the Rector at Marmara University, Coordinator of the Marmara University Entrance Examination for Students from Abroad (MÜYÖS), Bologna Coordination Commission Member, Academic Incentive Regulation, Supervision and Appeal Commission Member, the Director of Marmara University Distance Education Application and Research Center (UZEM).

     He has been the Director of the Turkish National Defence University Atatürk Strategic Studies and Graduate Institute (ATASAREN) since 23 December 2022. He has a good command of English, is married and has two children.
